1 (G5) - Break!: An agent investigating an illegal gambling operation is killed by Dutch Krebbs (Carl Benz, pictured with Jim), and the IMF is given the job of recovering the wristwatch camera he was carrying. Jim, with the aid of Barney's electronic wizardry, takes on the guise of a hotshot pool hustler, and, in the absence of Casey, enlists the help of Allen's ex-girlfriend Mimi Davis. After the caper is over, Mimi is enlisted in the IMF while Casey is "in deep cover in Europe" (in fact, Lynda Day George was having a baby). |

2 (G2) - Two Thousand: The IMF have to recover 50 kg of plutonium, stolen by Joseph Collins (Vic Morrow, pictured as a 65 year old, with Barney). Willy is a detective and Jim runs a film. |

3 (G6) - The Deal: A syndicate leader, Charles Rogan (Robert Webber, right, with his girlfriend Marcy, played by Lana Wood), has the key to the five million dollar bankroll that will finance the overthrow of the government of Camagua. The IMF must get the key and prevent the takeover. They use a fake Camaguan Navy boat, with Barney as captain, while Willy is a crew member on Rogan's yacht. Jim is a Camaguan colonel, and Mimi, still deputising for Casey, goes to gaol. |

4 (G4) - Leona: In order to free Louis Parnell (William Boyett), a captured undercover agent, the IMF must set two syndicate families, the Epics and the Apollos, against each other. Jim poses as an insurance agent, investigating the death of Leona, the wife of Joe Epic (Robert Goulet, right), and implies that she had been having an affair with Mike Apollo (Dewey Martin). |

5 (G9) - TOD-5: Government scientist Paul Morse (Ross Elliott) intends to sell TOD-5, a biological weapon, to the terrorists in the Alpha Group, through their contact Gordon Holt (Peter Haskell). The IMF have to find the Alpha Group. Mimi, deputising for Casey, is immune to the weapon, Jim gives an injection, Barney plays a tape recorder, and Willy wears a blue suit (right). |

6 (G10) - Cocaine: Fernando Laroca (Gregory Sierra) is smuggling in cocaine and selling it to Carl Reid (Stephen McNally). The IMF have seventy-two hours to locate and seize a large cocaine shipment, and they rely on Reid's lieutenant, Joe Conrad (William Shatner, making his second Mission: Impossible appearance) to lead them to it. 7 (G3) - Underground: The IMF must recapture escaped mobster Gunther Schell (H M Wynant) and recover millions of dollars that he has concealed. Jim is a doctor, wanted for murder, and Willy is an anaesthetist. |

8 (G13) - Movie: A crime syndicate boss, Norman Shields (John Vernon) has taken over a Hollywood studio. The money is put up by Benjamin Dane (David Brian), who sends his brother Theo (Rhodes Reason, right, being drugged by Jim) to look after his interests. The IMF have to get Syndicate financial records, held by Shields. Jim pretends to be Theo, and Barney poses as a director intent on making a motion picture that parallels exactly an unsolved murder committed by Shields, with Mimi in a starring role. |

9 (G12) - Hit: Imprisoned Syndicate boss Sam Dexter (Dane Clark) is suspected of killing his girlfriend. 'The General', Dexter's secret partner, is still running his organisation. The IMF must discover the General's identity and prove Dexter's guilt. Jim is a special prosecutor, Mimi is an eyewitness, and Barney and Willy are convicts. |

10 (G14) - Ultimatum: Dr Jerome Cooper (Murray Hamilton, right, with his wife Adele, played by Madlyn Rhue), a nuclear scientist, threatens to destroy a major American city with a fifty megaton hydrogen bomb unless the President meets his demands. The IMF have to find out which city, and then defuse the bomb. Jim and Mimi pretend to be payroll robbers, Willy runs a cafe, and Barney flies a helicopter. |

11 (G15) - Kidnap: In a departure from the usual format, Jim is kidnapped and held for ransom until Barney, Casey and Willy can steal an incriminating letter from a safe deposit box and turn it over to crime syndicate boss Andrew Metzger (John Ireland, right). Barney becomes a maintenance man, Casey deposits some jewellery, and Willy is a doctor and also makes some keys.

12 (G8) - Crack-Up: The IMF must get hired killer Peter Cordel (Alex Cord), and learn the identity of his employer. IMF agent Sandy (Marlyn Mason) uses her persuasive charms, and Barney is a police lieutenant. Neither Casey nor Mimi appear. |

13 (G16) - The Puppet: Criminal family head Paul Ostro has had a serious accident, and is using his brother Leo (Roddy McDowall) as his spokesman. The IMF have to find out why the Ostro family are branching out, and smash their plans. Jim and Casey broker a crooked oil deal, Barney becomes a chef, and Willy cracks a safe. |

14 (G19) - Incarnate: Hannah O'Connel (Kim Hunter) and her son Thomas (Robert Hogan) have stolen over $1 million in gold bullion, and fled to the Carribean island of Jamada. The IMF have to persuade Hannah to return to the US. Casey (right, with Jim) is the landlady of a haunted house, Barney is a shop keeper and Willy is apparently killed. |

15 (G18) - Boomerang: John Vayle's wife Eve (Laraine Stephens, right, with Jim) has arranged his death so that she can get records vital to Stanley Luchek's (Ronald Feinberg) underworld family. The IMF have to locate the records. Barney is a police lieutenant who arrests would-be killer Jim, who is employed by Casey. |

16 (G11) - The Question: The Federal Intelligence Service have assassin Nicholas Varsi (Gary Lockwood) in custody, but the IMF are asked to kidnap him and discover his mission. Jim poses as a fellow agent and IMF agent Andrea (Elizabeth Ashley) poses as an IFS agent. Neither Mimi nor Casey appear |

17 (G17) - The Fountain: Tom Bachman (George Maharis) has stolen top secret computerised records from the Syndicate, and injured Syndicate boss Matt Drake (Cameron Mitchell) in the process. The IMF have to get the records before Drake does. Barney flies a plane, and Jim, Willy and Casey (right) pretend to be much older than they seem. |

18 (G21) - The Fighter: Syndicate boxing boss Jay Braddock (Joe Maross) has corrupted promoter Paul Mitchell (William Windom). The IMF must expose the two men and destroy their operation. Barney becomes a gangland boss with Jim as his chief, Casey (right) is disguised as Mitchell's daughter Susan (Jenifer Shaw), and Willy is a special investigator. |

19 (G1) - Speed: Drugs dealer Sam Hibbing (Claude Akins) has three tons of stolen speed which the IMF must recover. Casey pretends to be Hibbing's daughter (right), with Jim as her boy friend, and Barney as a New Orleans gangster. The location shots were done in San Francisco. |

20 (G22) - The Pendulum: The Pendulum, a secret terrorist organisation led by Gunnar Malstrom (Dean Stockwell, right), is planning a major attack, code named Nightfall. The IMF must find out what Nightfall is — and stop it. Casey becomes Malstrom's girlfriend and Jim is a terrorist leader. |

21 (G20) - The Western: Van Cleve (Ed Nelson), a brilliant thief, has tried to murder his partner Matthew Royce (Barry Atwater, right, holding the statue). The IMF convince him that he has the power of precognition as part of its plan to recover the $5 million worth of art treasures that he has stolen. Casey is a gambler, Jim and Barney are government geologists, and Willy is a croupier. |

22 (G7) - Imitation: The Marnsburg crown jewels have been stolen by Jena Cole (Barbara McNair, pictured with Barney), and the IMF have seventy-two hours to recover them. Barney cracks a safe, Willy is a Marnsburg official, IMF agent Duval (Ray Ballard) is a diamond fence, and Jim is a creditor. Neither Casey nor Mimi appear. |
