Mission: Impossible in the UKBelow is the result of a search of DigiGuide's database for any Mission: Impossible broadcasts to the UK over the next few days. Quest Freeview channel Quest is showing seasons 3 and 4 of MI. Jeff Eastmond has written to say that they are showing Season 3 episodes in production order, not original TX order. Jeff says "This is very confusing as the announcers are announcing each episode as if they are showing them in original TX order." Quest is on Freeview channel 38 and Sky 154; Quest+1 is on Sky 167

I cannot guarantee the longevity of any of these scheduled times, although they appear (at least for the moment) to be consistent week-to-week. 12 January 2009 (infrequent update, only when changes)
AmericanLife TV Network shows MI Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:00pm (repeating at 1:00am) Eastern (5:00pm/10:00pm Pacific) and 7:00pm (repeating at 2:00am) Eastern Saturday and Sunday (4:00pm/11:00pm Pacific).
KCCE/50, San Luis Obispo CA runs AmericanLife as its program feed and carry MI at the Pacific times;
WBQP/12, Pensacola FL, also runs AmericanLife, carrying MI at the Eastern times. Both pre-empt some of the airings for other programming.

A note about channel numbers: Many stations carrying MI identify on the air with their cable channel number. This list shows them on the channel they actually broadcast on.
(For the record, I report Midnight (12:00am) as the last time slot of the night, not the first one of the morning.) High definition testHDNET, a high-definition channel available via DirecTV, did a test broadcast of one episode (The Hostage) in 2003, to gauge viewers' interest. However, there's no sign of them taking this any further.

This site doesn’t really deal with the Mission: Impossible movies — I think the first one only bore a very slight resemblance to the TV series, and the resemblance is even slighter for the second (M:i-2). However, the films proved popular, with the first taking $454m, and the second $546m. The receipts for the latest film were said to be “disappointing”, although it still managed to gross $48 million for its US opening weekend.
Paramount’s official site at www.missionimpossible.com has information about the third movie M:i:III.
